I am enormously happy to be allowed to announce that I have taken a new position. As “Akademischer Rat auf Zeit” I joined the working team led by Klaus von Heusinger at the University of Cologne.

This summer, I will attend two interesting summer schools. In July, I will be participating in the summer school on “Word order variation and change. I am happy to have learnt that I received a support grant of 1050€ from the Potsdam Graduate School for the extensive graduate course Historisch-vergleichende Syntax, that I will be offering next semester at the University of Potsdam. The main aim is to give a comparative overview of selected topics in (older) Germanic languages.

In the winter semester 2015/16 I will be teaching two extensive courses at the University of Potsdam. Both of them are concerned with grammatical categories in German and its history.
